I am a husband to a beautiful human being and amazing mother to our children. Our oldest daughter and her husband just became parents making us grandparents for the first time. We raised our four chickens (as I call them) overseas in China, exposing them to world cultures, languages, and a diversity of thought.
I have 25 years of experience in educations, student advocacy, advisory, and coaching. 15 years of school and family counseling experience in China working with international students and families. I am versed in student advocacy and have over 15 years of experience in individual coaching for men. Additionally I have been practicing Taiji for over 30 years and am a certified instructor from foundation to advanced Taiji and Qigong.

Carlos is a life advisor dedicated to helping men thrive in all aspects of life. He supports fathers, husbands, male professionals (especially in education), and young men navigating transitions from secondary school to college or in starting their careers.
With a friendly, personalized approach, Carlos provides tools and develops with you strategies to strengthen relationships and build confidence. Whether you're seeking growth, clarity, or direction, Carlos is here to help achieve lasting success.
Carlos holds a Master of Education & Counseling and has experience working in K-12 schools as the Director of Students Services as well as guidance/college counselor. He also partners with Everything ASD to provide services to children with ASD. He is available to serve as a student advocate, guide students and families in their journey in the public, charter, private and homeschooling settings, while accompanying families in developing home routines and approaches to parenting including the relationship between the parent/guardians with each other.
Carlos has been practicing Taiji for over 30 years, part of which has been in mainland China. He has taught students through all levels and ages.
